Best In Show: Window Light

The event is an all-media national competition held each year in May at The Old Post Office Museum & Art Center in Graham, Texas.  Window Light, a still life, depicts Mark's first wife Glenda, who died of breast cancer in 1995.   Quiet, intimate, and pensive, this image captures much that fires Mark's imagination.  Personal connections resonate as well.  This is a room in Glenda's grandma's house -- a simple Texas farmhouse that appears over and over in Mark's paintings.
