Sue to Mark 15
I feel wedded to this machine! I'm spending more and more time with it. I scanned your message this morning and will now digest it more thoroughly for my Sunday afternoon pre-nap reading. Once again, I have a jillion thoughts . . . Every word out of the preacher's mouth this morning, every scripture we read seemed aimed directly at me! May is always family emphasis at our church and so the whole focus was on the sanctity of a committed mother and father in the home. There was a scripture in Timothy about young widows that hit home, too.
Mom just called and Dad is out of surgery and stable. The doctor is pleased with what they were able to do and feel that his recovery should accelerate now. Thank you for praying, once again. Now, I'M beginning to sound like a broken record!
It will take me some time to organize my thoughts and respond to your last e-mail. I have been so distracted by Dad's situation and by our correspondence that I've really let my school responsibilities slide. I may not be able to get back to you before Monday or Tuesday.
But I will leave you with a more distinct mental image to tide you over . . . I am tall (nearly 5'9") and long limbed. If you know anything about women's clothing, I'm about a 10/12. I have brown eyes and high cheekbones and naturally curling dark blond/gray hair brushed away from my face. If I'm vain about anything, it would be my ankles and . . . (blush).
Talk to you soon --
