What a relief it was to hear from you!!!! I know the RELIEF you feel to be on the downhill side of a rough mountain ride (what an understatement!) It's just when you see smoother terrain out ahead of you that Satan attacks - in the form of a dead car in your case. Bless your heart. I'm feeling discouraged right along with you.
I've told my kids to be on their best behavior this weekend. I've got a long overdue painting commission to finish, frame, pack and ship to a very patient client in Ohio by Tuesday. I've had some trouble concentrating all week, being mindful of what you, your dad, and your family were going through (I was getting a little concerned that the lack of news meant bad news.) I look forward to reading your account of the experience. Take your time. I'm sure you've come back to a load of housekeeping issues.
