Description
This lighthouse top was removed from its tower and sat on the courthouse lawn in Freeport, Texas, for many years. It became the subject of many of Mark's early watercolor paintings, as he imagined it in various settings. In this watercolor study it is sitting on the stone jetty at the Brazos River estuary. This watercolor was completed around 1981, and was the study for a larger watercolor painging entitled "Last Vigil." This is a 12"x11" framed watercolor painting.
